Have you ever sustained an injury that refused or took long time to heal? I guess the pain and the memories were still as fresh as the wound. Too often in life we sustain many injuries that can in someway define our actions and reactions. It could be a mistake, a loss, an opportunity lost, failure, a broken relationship or something that you felt so bad for. Sometimes you can’t stop yourself from narrating your pain and mistakes to others because you haven’t healed.

Dear friends I just want to let you know that you won’t go beyond the level you are presently if you continue to nurse your mistakes, giving them a reason to remain in your memory.

Don’t let your mistakes define you. Don’t let what you’ve been through taint the rest of your life. God has a reason for everything that happens and He wouldn’t have allowed it if it was going to keep you from your purpose.

A great man once said:

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.”

-Kahlil Gibran
