DO YOU REMEMBER?

I never planned to write this post, but during my quiet time this morning, I felt the burden to write to a weak, lonely, depressed, troubled and deserted soul out there. Yes you have gone through a lot and you are still going through lots. With all you’ve gone through, I know there are times when you doubt if God hasn’t forgotten or abandoned you, times when your tears became your meat and discouragement your companion.

These are God’s words for you:

ISAIAH 44:21-22(NIV):
44:21: “Remember these things, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel. I have made you, you are my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you

.44:22: I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.”

I don’t want you to see the above as mere letters or words. This are words that God has said not by an angel or a messenger.
First He says:

1.REMEMBER: Do you remember what God did the Bible days and even in your life in times past ? What is it you are going through? Good or bad, please try to remember.

2. REMEMBER, YOU ARE HIS SERVANT: Don’t start asking how? Because if you truly sat down to remember, you will certainly know that he created you in his image and likeness without any man’s help and he is also going to make you great and prosperous because you are his servant.

3. REMEMBER, HE FORMED YOU: With His compassionate, kind and forgiving hands he fashioned you in his image and likeness, can he forget his creation? No

4. REMEMBER THAT HE PROMISED NEVER TO FORGET YOU: When God makes a promise, it’s stands till the end of time.

5. REMEMBER THAT HE HAS BLOTTED OUT YOUR SIN: What is that thing you’ve done and feel God can’t forgive, dear He says he has already blotted out your sins, all you need to do is to pray and call on Him.

6.RETURN UNTO HIM, FOR HE HAS REDEEMED YOU: Don’t waste anymore time in going back to him if you have backslided in faith, resorting to other options, please run back to Him, for he has already redeemed you.

Dear friends, man promises and fails, but God is not man, He keeps His promises. It doesn’t matter how strong the wind maybe, how many friends have deserted you, what kind of situation or sickness you are experiencing, never forget that he has promised and even right now he is standing with you, to walk you out from them all. Be strong and hold unto God and continue in his ways and you will never regret it in this world and in the world to come
