When we walk with the Lord, there is always this great joy we find at the beginning of our relationship with Him. But because being a Christian is characterized by countless temptations and trials, many have along the way become weary and offended in the Lord.
Some will begin to ask
Where was God when my husband died?
Where was God when I lost my job?
Why didn’t He save my parents?
All these and more questions come from someone who is broken and offended in the Lord. No wonder Christ said in Matthew 11:16, “And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.”
He knew we are going to pass through unlimited and countless challenges on our way to heaven. He knew that after accepting to place our hand on the plow, certain distractions will arise to hinder us from continuing in faith.
Dear friends, are you already offended or on the verge of being offended?
Remember, if God didn’t love you and cared for you He wouldn’t have sent his only begotten son to die for your sins.
Have faith in Him, talk to him, let him work on you with those challenges, and bring you out in the purest form of gold.
Never lose faith, never give up, God loves you.
